I would really like to get back to where I was many weeks ago before the latest updates (I've had the same hardware for many months, well before the updates, and no issues with it). tried to turn off any wake functions.įor the USB hub devices, where I looked next, I see that "Allow this device to wake the computer" is not only not selected, but it's grayed out so I can't select/unselect it if I wanted to: I have done the same for the Microsoft Mouse and But in device manager there is no power management tab to do this. I have also tried turning off any "wake" activities for the dongle in device manager.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. If I keep it plugged in, the screen will turn on shortly after turning off, again. If I remove that dongle, my screen stays off. I have found this is due to the Microsoft USB Dual Receiver I use with my Microsoft wireless keyboard. Now, they turn off and within a few seconds, turn back on.
Until the recent Windows updates (currently on 20H2) my monitors would turn off after my set delay and stay off.
